Using the Rock Online Catalog (ROC): Your Library Account

Tips and tricks for finding what you need in the library.

Your Library Account

Logging into your library account will allow you to:

  • view your address information and any overdue fines
  • view and renew items currently checked out to you
  • save searches to alert you to new materials
  • store a list of items that you have checked out or that you wish to check out in the future

Click on the “My Library Account” link at the top of any catalog page.

If you are a current Curtis student, staff, or faculty member, click on the top option to log in with your Curtis email address and password. NOTE: To use this option, your library account must have your Curtis email address on file.

Alumni should use their firstname.lastname to log in. If you are logging in for the first time, click the "Create or reset your PIN" button to set up your library PIN.

Once you have logged in, you will be able to view the address and phone number the Library has on file for you, as well as your current checkouts and any fines.

Trouble logging in? Contact the library for help with your library account.

  2. Click on the "New Search" button.
  3. Search for your favorite author, subject, title, etc. or create an advanced keyword search including limits to material type, language, publication year, etc..
  4. When your results are displayed, click the button marked "Save as preferred search".
  5. The next time that you log in to your Library Account Account, you can click the "Preferred Searches" button to see a list of your saved searches.
  6. Click on the search link associated with any of the preferred search terms in the list to quickly execute your search.
  7. You can be alerted of new materials added to the library collection which match your searches. Just check the "Mark for Email" box and be sure that your patron record information includes your current email address.
